Summary
Amends the
Higher Education Support Act 2003
in relation to funding and grant levels for 2006-09 for certain purposes, including: 100 new places in Veterinary Science and Tropical Agriculture at James Cook University; capital infrastructure funding for the University of Western Sydney; and Commonwealth Scholarships; and
Higher Education Funding Act 1988
to reflect indexation increases for transitional financial assistance funding for 2006-07.
